Haydon, of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, pleaded not guilty to all six counts at the Shrewsbury Crown Court yesterday.
Detective Constable Paul Whittam, of the Thames Valley Police Homicide Squad, said Haydon’s arrest was a “realistic scenario” and would have a “real impact” on the investigation into Mr Todhunter’s death.
He told the jury: “The jury’s verdict was the same as they’ve been told.
“This is a realistic scenario and you have to think of it. It’s probably a bit of a shock to many of us that they had come to tjarvees.comhat conclusion because we’ve all been thinking about Mr Todhunter’s murder for the last year and we’ve always had the feeling it was a genuine murder.
“The evidence in this case is pretty overwhelming and to see the jury come back and come to their unanimous verdict is very encouraging.”
Haydon, who was remanded in custody at Shrewsbury police s더킹카지노tation, is due to reappear in court today and hear a Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) appeal.
